What Data We Collect

ReviewPaw collects the following data only when you actively click the "Summarize Reviews" button:

• Amazon product review text from the current page — used solely to generate the AI summary.
• Your API key — stored locally in your browser using Chrome's storage API. Never transmitted to our servers.
• Daily usage count — stored locally to enforce the free tier limit. Never transmitted.

How We Use Your Data

Review text is sent to the DeepSeek AI API exclusively for generating a summary. We do not store, log, or retain any review data on our servers. The AI API processes the request and the response is displayed directly in the extension popup.

Data We Do NOT Collect

• Personal information (name, email, address)
• Browsing history
• Financial information
• Cookies or tracking data
• Any data from non-Amazon websites

Third-Party Services

ReviewPaw uses the DeepSeek API (api.deepseek.com) to generate review summaries. Your review text is sent to this API for processing. Please refer to DeepSeek's Privacy Policy for their data handling practices.

Data Storage

All user settings (API key, usage count) are stored locally on your device using Chrome's built-in storage API. No data is stored on external servers.
